Terms and conditions

Last updated 14 October 2026.

Draft: this page hasn't been reviewed yet and may change before launch.

These terms apply when you order a 3D print from LayerWorks. Please read them before you order. They don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.

Who we are

LayerWorks is run by [Business legal name], [Business postal address]. Email abelyonathan504@gmail.com.

Your order

  • The price shown when you order is worked out from your model and the options you choose. It's the price you pay.
  • Our contract starts when we email you to confirm your order.
  • We check every model before printing. If we can't print it to a good standard, we'll tell you and refund you in full.
  • Colours on screen are a guide and the real material may look slightly different.
  • 3D prints show fine layer lines. This is normal and not a fault.

Your model

  • You must own the model or have permission to have it printed.
  • We won't print weapons or weapon parts, anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else's rights. We'll refund you if we refuse an order.
  • We only use your model to make your order. We don't share it, sell it or claim any rights to it.
  • We print the model as you send it. We aren't responsible for design mistakes in the file, such as wrong sizes or parts too thin to print well.

Payment

You pay by card when you order, through Stripe. Prices are in pounds sterling.

Delivery

We deliver to addresses in the UK for £3.99 per order. We'll email you when your order is on its way. If it's lost or arrives damaged, contact us and we'll reprint or refund it.

Cancelling and returns

Prints are made to your own design, so the usual 14-day right to cancel doesn't apply once printing has started (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). Your rights if a print is faulty are explained in our refunds policy.

Our responsibility to you

We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not taking reasonable care. We aren't responsible for business losses, or for how a printed part performs in a use we weren't told about. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Your data

How we use your personal data is explained in our privacy policy.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
